Jamie began her restaurant career while working her way through school at The College of William and Mary. After graduation in 2005, she traded in the couch for a bar top and tables, realizing that her Psychology skills and desire to help others were best utilized within the hospitality and restaurant industry.  With 13 years of restaurant experience, she joined our staff in April of 2014 to assist in the opening of the York River Oyster Company in Gloucester Point. Jamie then moved to the Riverwalk Restaurant and Water Street Grille in November of 2014. Jamie has an intense passion for wine and specialty cocktails, and enjoys presenting unique and interesting finds to our customers.  In her spare time, you can find Jamie in the great outdoors, hiking, kayaking or running with her rescue dog, and of course, drinking fine wine…

Brian, or otherwise known as the 6’6″ mammoth of a man that we call our Executive Head Chef, came barging through our doors in 2013 claiming to be the the most creative and innovative chef this side of the Mississippi. Of course we took his word for it and hired him in fear of being demolished, but we’re glad we were intimidated enough to do so! Brian has 19 years of kitchen experience at some, including 12 years as Chef de Cuisine and 7 years of culinary education at J. Sargeant Reynolds. Chef Brian loves all food, but has an obsessive passion for creating some awesome seafood dishes; so obsessive that you might find him out in the York River catching fish and oysters with his bare hands. With the culinary gods on Brian’s side, we know we never have to worry about a thing as he is a culinary force to be reckoned with. In his spare time you can easily spot his head towering above everyone else’s while jamming out at live music festivals or traveling the world exploring foods in areas that even Superman couldn’t survive. His next stop? Some place called Europe where there is a village in Wales called “Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerych-wyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch” (go ahead, look it up).

Amber is WSG’s honorary captain of the bar! Having always worked in the service industry, she has always loved interacting with guests, meeting new people, and sharing her love of vodka with others! It was an easy choice to have this Moscow Mule drinking, mile running cheetah, and rehabbing shopaholic give the orders behind this many taps!
